Getting Ready
As a Jacksonville wedding photographer, it was a joy to document Kennedi and Casey's special day at the Mansion at Hilliard, just outside of Jacksonville. With its big white home and gorgeous grounds, the setting was just stunning.
Kennedi and Casey began the day getting ready in the bridal and groom suite at the Hilliard Mansion. As they prepared to see each other for their "First Look," the excitement and anticipation were obvious. Casey's expression was wonderful when he saw Kennedi in her wedding gown for the first time.
Ceremony
Kennedi reunited with her estranged father in such an emotional scene during the ceremony, which was hosted on a white terrace at the back of the estate. Kennedi and Casey's love and enthusiasm as they uttered their vows was incredibly contagious, and it was an honor to record these moments for them.
We brought the couple outdoors for photographs after the ceremony, against the lovely background of the mansion and its beautiful gardens. We were able to snap some very spectacular shots since the light was just right.
Reception
The celebration was located in a hall behind the estate, and it was just stunning, with Christmas trees, ornaments, and red and green highlights throughout. The pair performed their first dance as husband and wife, and love they felt was really unforgettable.
As the night drew to a conclusion, the couple exited beneath a shower of sparklers and artificial snow, a wonderfully stunning finale to a perfect day.
