As a St Augustine wedding photographer, I was honored to be a part of Erika and Brian's special day at the Lightner Museum. This lovely venue in the heart of the historic area was the ideal setting for their private and romantic wedding celebration.
I could tell it was going to be a remarkable day from the moment I arrived. Erika and Brian had given each other gifts, with Brian surprising Erika with a gorgeous necklace and Erika giving Brian bespoke cufflinks with a photo of his late father. It was a heartfelt moment that set the tone for the remainder of the day.
Prep
Fathers First Look
The couple prepared for their wedding in the Lightner Museum, Brian in the Groom Suite, and Erika in the Bridal Suite. Erika had a unique first look with her father on the museum's third level, and the emotion in the room was evident. Her father, a stoic man, showed her just how proud of her he was. Erika will remember this event for the rest of her life.
It was time for the ceremony after the first glance. The museum's bottom level was tastefully adorned, with flowers and candles providing a romantic touch to the room. Brian couldn't take his gaze away from Erika as she descended the stairs to walk the isle. Everyone in attendance could see their affection for one another.

Portraits
It was time for portraits after the wedding. The Lightner Museum's outside terrace was the ideal location for some stunning photos of the newlyweds. The sunshine streaming through the trees, along with the wonderful design of the museum, resulted in some very stunning photographs.
The evening lasted with dancing, speeches, and a grand departure beneath sparklers carried by their friends and family. Erika and Brian went off into the night in a horse-drawn carriage, capping off their memorable night.
Reception
Erika and Brian's wedding at the Lightner Museum was a dream come true for me as a wedding photographer in St Augustine. The setting, the couple, and their loved ones all contributed to a very memorable day. I am honored to have been a part of it and to have recorded these moments for the couple to treasure for years to come.
