"The journey of my passion for photography began in my 10th-grade year. I signed up for an introductory photography class, not realizing the impact it would have on my life. The first camera I used was my father's trusty Nikon, which he had taken with him throughout his time in the military.
As the class progressed, I discovered the technical side of photography and became fascinated with the delicate balance between shutter speed, aperture, and film sensitivity. This is where my love for black-and-white portraiture was born.
The world of photography has changed greatly with the advent of digital cameras and editing software. While these advancements have made it easier to take decent photos with little effort, true mastery of the art form requires a blend of technical knowledge and creative vision. "I strive to find this balance, and it is where I find myself today."
